Why is a 300 mm shell doing 0 damage to the tank

It actually does a lot of damage to tanks but I guess for balance/gameplay reason it can't kill a tank that's at 1 HP if it's not in the center of the explosion ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

mostly because explosives are shit when they don't directly hit armor that's why 100-pound bombs have a low kill radius (5-10m) against tanks

Man I remember I was playing against someone that picked the USF and they built 1 105mm Bulldozer Sherman and straight up it kept one shotting all my tanks even my Tiger tanks and I couldn't penetrate its armor at all on Spearhead I was like "Well this is Bullshit"

What is bullshit is All German tanks taking 7 or 10 shots to kill in addition to 5 rocket strikes. Thats the most unrealistic part of the game. I don't care how well built a tank was ,there is no way a tank could take 5 Rocket Strikes in a row and still be mobile. Ruins the game from a strategy standpoint.

Yeah I have to admit, American tanks are absurdly powerful to the point it's not even funny to play them. The mod seems balanced towards British/Soviet vs Germans

@@ocean88eagle9 Man I always have problems fighing against British or USF tanks cause for some reason they survive like 20 shots from the sides or the back but they shoot my King Tiger 5 times on the side and it explodes hell I have an easier time figting Russians than I do fighting the other two Factions

Bazooka, Anti tank 57mm, Rocket Strikes from Aircraft , Takes many,many hits to take them out. Meanwhile my Pershing is done after 3 shots from a Tiger. So unbalanced its ridiculous.

Yeah when I had US opponent, that thing drove me crazy. It packs a hell of a punch, absurd range and RoF is not that bad. If I find the courage to play the game again, I'll try to see how it goes. Moreoever, after publishing this video, I found a way to make the AVRE shoot even faster, with Vet 5 + Radio Net III + RoF upgrade + Major (Anvil), down to 3.2 seconds between each shot.

@@daikyraraga8382 it has direct fire that insta kills any infantry in front of it , It can wipe like 10 squads with one shot and it fires so quickly and has alot of range.

I finally managed to reach 3.2 seconds cooldown thanks to radio net III (on the top of Vet 5 + RoF upgrade + Major (anvil))

You should try Wikinger tho it's really pain the ass but really makes your units mean business esp a tiger 1, I haven't tried it against players only fought against ai tho they do cheat mainly able to sent out 1 time only named tanks which can 1 shot once vet 5

I literally made 4 of my friends stop playing coh2 and move to Meg of war 2 assault squad because we would only play in spearhead and wikitinker and I would just artillery them to death

Yeah I do like Men of War as well, however your units AI is abysmal, especially when your soldier dances in front of the tank you orderer to throw a grenade/shoot bazooka at :L

@@daikyraraga8382 fr. Also I’m probably the most inexperienced at the game with them so I don’t expect a tiger 2 in the enemy spawn to be able to shoot though a Forrest and half a village to oneshot my tanks. Which definitely was a bit annoying when it first happened.
