matilda/panzerIV ends up the same, it doesn't feel right but at close quarter 2 panzers versus matilda don't even manage to secure a kill if they're supported. UKF needs a slight rebalance, and probably an additional Sherman/Valentine battlegroup to juice up its options. And matilda needs a penetration & HP nerf or something, that tank is way too tanky on top of the churchille :0

It’s a cheap anti-everything unit that is also ridiculously well armoured. It’s a no brainer. Relic have thrown immersion and realism out of the window in favour of balance but they haven’t even got that right. Glaring imbalances all over the place.

@@calvin6429 well the guy mentioned "supported"... yea me too had times when the god damn matilda wouldn't die from 2x P4s... like bouncing as hell and doing little damage for a tank that comes out so early. Sometimes RNGs goes the good way, but the tank is tanky)) and the Churchill sheesh... I also hate how axis tanks can barely chase any allied tank, even if allies are reversing like what the hell? a reversed tank is faster than a forwarding tank :D

First, Havoc tank escape was one of the craziest ever recorded lol Perfect example of unbalanced tanks, brummbar is anti inf and should not pen armor that well to contest grunt, maybe crusader but still too high and either give the same wipe power to matilda or reduce brummbar dmg per model as already done with matilda to be fair about it, it just wipes way too easily. What the hell panther, i treat it like a tiger everytime i see it, (equal threat level or higher because its faster) even with mines it contest 2 grunts.. armor and dmg cannot both be that high that 2 grunts investment cannot outperform it. Side note Steady Assault could have helped there but its speed decrease is so high you know its too risky using it generally, and too late to remember using it at last breath, which should not be its goal at all, need tweaking. This is not an axis op comment :)

Dude brummbar is expensive and late tier unit... Matilda is cheaper and comes out waay earlier... it was killing infantry like hell in 1.7... it could just walk into 2 AT guns and not give a damn while annihilating them.

​@@BennyAtia really so a Panther should not be able to contest grants? because nothing else can that axis have, grant being the best medium tank. 2 grants, or 1 grant supported by a light vehicle/tank like chaffee or greyhound will take the brummbar out. E8 can solo it. Panther is the only one that can stay solo against E8. Yes axis have something scary against allies, so lets nerf that shit down so allies would not have to struggle at all. In 1v1, 2v2 maybe yea... but in team games allies have everything and more they need to take down everything axis has. US AT have armor pen rounds, abilities, snares... I mean man... come on

Panthers are AT from BG... It is made to fight tanks, maybe try something else, that half-casemate tank, which cannot flank it. Geez, low elo takes are a pain. You should not expect 2 papers to beat a rock.

Crusaders would have been a good option for sure. I do wonder if it could’ve been worth getting a 17 pounder. Obviously with the Wespe on the field it’d bleed MP but that’s going to happen anyways, and if your fast with the tow truck you can largely avoid it. I feel like people avoid building them on account of the fuel cost but against Panthers and Brumms it can be worth it.

yeah it can be hard to adapt late game if you need a side-tech and maybe an upgrade from the centre to be effective.

As a person who was trying crusaders against it for the last couple of days... It is very micro intensive compared to controlling one semi-immortal universal hulk. 1st crusader arrives close to the brumbar itself like in this game, so if you manage to jump it by blocking from behind and leaping on it with no wehr AT weapons nearby then maybe you can take it down. Otherwise you need to pump multiple and then micro them while avoiding everything. If you upgrade their gun, it becomes near useless against infantry and it can be crucial if facing against pgrens. Australlian setup team buff helps a lot to bait and trap brumbars with AT guns though. Juicy team weapon suddenly doesn't die from 1-2 shots and keeps firing back at close range. Anyway hurrdurr wehr superior armor a-clicks everything, lets nerf matlida. :D

@@Evilstealer404 I mean let’s not pretend the Matilda nerf wasn’t justified. That thing was better at wiping infantry than a Tiger :P But yeah, I know the crusaders are more micro intensive, but they are also cheaper so it doesn’t matter as much if they die. And while they can’t do much to pgrens, pgrens also can’t do anything to them so that’s mostly fine. I also feel like a unit of foot guards to go with the Crusaders (or just on their own) would be a decent answer to Panther, given how shit it is at anti-infantry, and their vet 1 would give a decisive edge towards the Brit player.

Really love that HE large caliber guns & arty work like they do in CoH3, much more interesting fights instead of binary specialist units ending up useless against certain targets! Definitely agree Grants were the worst choice right there, fighting head on the best head-on axis armor can get with a Grant x) Crusaders don't get enough credits yet probably, they're so nasty a couple of them well managed can take out a tiger un-supported! Love those boys!

Well, Grants at least can somewhat fight the Panther. Crusaders need to be in larger number and flank which is hard as FeriG had been planting mines. Also with the nerf to the 6 pounder upgrade you either do good damage against infantry but not good against armor or the opposite.

UKF does not have a tank destroyer in it's core roster, you need to go Aussies to get the Archer

well of course it's one of their main 2 tanks, and p4 is so unreliable, actually it maybe one of the worst tanks alongside standard sherman at the moment especially when it's got no veterancy.

I suspect the long range ability is a nod to the Vickers' use as an indirect fire weapon by the British
