Is it just me or is unit preservation less of a think in CoH3? I mean, I keep seeing squads dropping left and right and with excellent players I can hardly believe that it's a slip that keeps happening. Is it because it's easier to archieve veterancy or squads are more squishy? Feels like CoH1 was the opposite in this regard, especially when you were playing US, where loosing vet3 riflemen was often a game loosing mistake/bad luck.

It's the 25% manpower reinforcement reduction abilities. They need to remove them from the game.

Well in CoH1 there was some cheesy stuff like that too. Wehrmacht with purchased vet and medic bunkers. US with the off map Combat groups. So it's not like it's out of nowhere. But at times unit preservation can feel a bit lax.

It's annoying having to counter-pick Indian when you're playing against Luftwaffe, but otherwise you risk being overwhelmed by human wave tactics.
