I genuinely think Exrate wasn’t tunnel visioned on center so much as he was so terrified of mines from Zulu on the side of the map. After he lost a couple units early, he sort of stopped sending units over. He just didn’t have enough sweepers to check the side as well as support the main push.

That is one very interesting interpretation. Hadn't thought of that!

@@Propagandacast Once he lost his ketten to a mine and took some casualties that caused a retreat, Exrate stopped poking around on the side until he finally got his minesweeper pios over. Then when a major conflict started gearing up in mid he rotated them back and the side capping was once again stopped. Can’t say for certain though. Interesting game, I greatly enjoyed the cast!

Great cast Dane. Zulu’s mines need their own dedicated balance team to make it fair on everyone else. Double wespe probably paid for themselves on sweeping duty alone!

When you think the axis player controlled only 1/4 of the map for large parts of this, and even in the last game you cast it was the same - they have a lot of staying power on the map… well until the grants turn up at least

Notice that despite early Infantry Training, it took 30 min. for Aussies to get to vet 3. Meanwhile it took just few minutes for Stosstruppen to get to vet 3. Aussies are just too rigidly designed around overpriced and buggy Marksman Shot, while lacking any other abilities, like the arty flare. CoH1 Marksman Shot was much better because it was an instant kill from the start, while facing much smaller German squads.

Isn't the supplyrun just a single run and not over and over again?

When you are very smart and build pioneers for the mines, but then dont use em....Also 1/3 of the map completely forgotten.

As an OG Dane fan, I gotta say it's a bit ironic to hear you chastise other players for not getting that medic bunker :D

I'd have done the same in Coh1 where medic bunkers mattered too. Not in Coh2 with all of it's loads of awkward design.
