Much thanks for checking it out! Coheed has been one of my favorite bands for a long time and I just love to see people enjoy their work. They deserve all the praise they get and so much more. Glad to see you both enjoyed it. And yes! Total Borderlands vibes. Almost feels like if Borderlands had Fortnite's line work. It worked for me for the most part but the song is just such a vibe I end up missing most of the actual video during relistens lol.

Loved the reaction. I was waiting on you guys to do their last single "Rise, Naianasha"! I'd definitely say check it out. Still good pop vibes, but way more proggy than Shoulder/Liars Club - probably my favorite of the 3 singles out so far.

Great reaction! I've been saying for years his vocals and style is like Michael Jackson, and the "baby are you ok?" has been noted like MJ by a number of people reacting to this song specifically.

Out of all the examples of a band being underrated, coheed is the prime example. 95 percent of the time I even mention there names, even to rock savy people they look at me like I'm crazy if not they just remember welcome home.. this bands talent is A tier and it's unfortunate that sometimes I feel like coheed had to compromise some uniqueness for attention. They are still them but not many appreciated that ikkse vibe and well Claudio has to feed chrondra and atlas so I get popping it up recently. What I really love though is even though they have been giving some more pop song releases they still remind you every album what they are about with some deep cuts that display there premium one of a kind prog elements. They stay true when they could have just spamed formula music

only complaint on the video is i wish they had animated the Prise they free in the novel...... just sayin esp sinc the Prise name is Nianasha which would of tied into the other single.... just my 2 cents ..... source from Chondra reading part of the new novel on twitch stream.....

Certainly not a follower of Coheed, but every time I do hear them I get My Chem vibes. Must be the guitar tones/melodic direction, I'm not sure.

They do have some similar antics, such as whispery soft verse 1 into explosive loud chorus, and then riding that momentum for the rest of the song. Especially prominent in Helena. (Just off the top of my head.)

Definitely true, but like these dudes said, they go full on progressive and sometimes dips into metal, so for me the authenticity or maybe originality just shines.
