Not done with it yet, but this one definitely enters the list of the top remakes available, alongside stuff like RE2 remake. Super well made and added significant stuff to the original. About the price tag.. I'd say if you haven't played the original it's DEFINITELY well priced... if you've played it before maybe wait for a discount.

I really enjoyed playing this remake, if they remake the 2nd amazing, but what I really want and maybe many of the fans want is a remake of the 3 one, without the coop and if gonna craft the weapons lets us make the originals weapons, reconstruct the story maybe, and if they are not gonna go for a dead space 4, just let ellie find issac at the end, because that man deserves clear of mind and a peace and quite ending

At the price point they set I just decided to watch Cohh play it. And it's great. Great in the sense that I've completed Dead Space twice and didn't want to pay that sort of money for what is essentially a polish up with a few neat add ins. The devs done an amazing job on this game but for the money there asking no way. If it was the 3rd of the price then I would of brought it.

I do think $60 is too much but they did change a lot contrary to what some in the comments claim. The gameplay has even had changes not just a pretty coat of paint. I'd wait till it's $40 imo.

I love Dead Space and I know they add a lots of new stuff in it but I will never buy a remake at full price.

We are only 18 videos into the series but I was a little disappointed in this game. It looks amazing and might be fun to play but it wasn't scary at all. It was like Callisto Protocol where it was mostly the same basic monsters you fight over and over which just become easier to kill. Then 8 hours into the game Cohh has his first death to his first boss fight that Cohh says was actually easy and he shouldn't have died. There wasn't really any cheesy jump scares to increase the scare factor. Just seemed underwhelming.

@@Ichigo2k9 using the best remakes ever in video game history is wrong apparently the only reason this remake even made is because they saw re 2 remake bro if ds remake cost 40 or 50 dollars I would say it’s good remake but asking for 70 is non reasonable i only played 2 hours on pc and refunded the game also I played og ds1 on pc maybe the beginning of the remake has no difference from the original and later on the remake has more new content I don’t know you tell me

You claimed to have played 2 hours and yet failed to notice that early 2 hours in to see the drastic change where the game no longer have loading screen in between chapters? lmao You're full of shit.

@@Lana-rs2oi exactly look at the mood and atmosphere and light change from re1 og to re1 remake and then see ds1 and ds remake whatever to each his own I guess also my issue with ds remake is it 70 dollars 10 dollars more than re2 remake and re2 remake had way more changes i just can’t help but think ds remake is scam also they banned people who played the og ds day before the remake was released because they thought that people who were playing og ds are having illegal copies of ds remake so that should tell you something about how similar the two games are
