This is a great video. I smoked my first Pyramide Extra (Tube) last night and it was my favorite cigar this year. I honestly didn't think it could top the Siglo VI but it definitely did. The tapered head and perfect draw, along with a fuller flavor (due to the Linea Classica) made the Pyramide not only the clear winner for me, but a top 3 smoke of all time.

I just bought a Siglo VI from C.Gars and I was planning on saving it until Christmas... watching this review is making me want to light that bad boy up right away. Got my PerfecDraw on standby if the draw is too tight. I'm currently working my way through what Cohiba have to offer from the Siglo series, for me personally Cohiba are a special occasion cigar so if I invest in a box it'll literally last me years, God willing.

@@variszarins It's a financial investment but the return is (hopefully) in enjoyment/memories/good times. Unfortunately the Siglo VI I got from Cgars turned out to be pretty mediocre all things considered, which was a shame.

SIGLO VI ALL DAY, EVERYDAY! It doesn't need to rest, you can smoke it directly. Piramides is a different story. They were better during -12 & -13. Keep up the good work Osman!

Thanks for the review. £45!!!!! And that was just 4 years ago. Try £155 - £179 now in London. How can these outrageous price increases be justified? Cohibas may be good, they may have an extra fermentation etc., but this surely is just a marketing thing. I will settle for lesser promoted, but still really great Cubans. There are still gems out there at fair prices, especially if you shop in Europe.

I hate cigars that get an uneven burn. If one type does it I will be hesitant of buying more of the same brand. Very frustrating as well as a tight draw! argh!

I had the same problems with a box of Monte Cristo No2 pyramides.....at least 8 out of the 25 were very, very plugged and almost painful to keep drawing. It is a beautiful cigar when drawing cleanly, but too many in a box of 25 almost unsmokable. Great review again man, keep it up!

Buy yourself a PerfecDraw, I've had one since Christmas and it has already saved several cigars that were completely plugged and it's improved the draw on innumerable cigars that were just a bit too tight.

This is very subjective... but I have wanted someone to compare these two cigars for years! Great job on that! Personally, I’ll take a Piramides over a Siglo VI any day. Piramides have always been consistent for me with excellent construction. I will note that larger ring gauges tend to require a bit more care in lighting and while smoking but an uneven burn often indicates a poor light, failure to rotate the cigar while smoking or just smoking too slowly rather that poor construction in my experience. The Siglo VI, when you get a good one they are just as good as the PE. But I find that they are less consistent in flavor and I get one every now and then that is slightly astringent... oddly I have had no issues with the medio Siglo besides always wanting a bit longer smoke. In my opinion the PE is almost as good as the BHK 56. But for the money retailers want for a box of Behike these days, I say go for the PE instead and get 2-3 very nice sticks for the price of 1 BHK. Siglo VI also seems a bit harder to find while Piramides seem to be more readily available. I am A bit biased because I also prefer the bellicose shape. Cheers!

You make some very good points and you're absolutely right about it being subjective. Don't get me wrong I love the Piramides, it's one of my favourite cigars. A good medio siglo is just sooooo nice, as long as it's been properly packed and doesn't have a super loose draw. I like the size cause it's great when I'm out doing some work and just need a small cigar .

I've never agreed with a post more. I have yet to smoke a BHK, but everything you described is spot on. I smoked my first Pyramide last night and was blown away. I too, am partial to the belicoso shape. In addition to cubans, I really enjoy Opus X. My two favorite vitolas are the Perfexion #2 (A true torpedo) and the Belicoso XXX (Power Ranger), the latter of which is still my favorite smaller cigar. To me, nothing beats that tapered head as it condenses the flavor and provides a perfect draw. My biggest concern with Cuban belicosos is that I've had a lot of bad draws, especially with the Monte 2's. I'd be curious to know what other belicosos/torpedos you enjoy.

@@justinchristophertod The Fuente Opus X line is one of my favorite non-Cubans and favorites in general. The Perfection #2 in my go to if I can find it. I just bought a Power Ranger at a local shop and enjoyed that a few days ago. Monte #2... I have some in my collection along with some petit edmundo tubos but I rarely touch them... no particular reason. Bolivar Belicoso Fino is another torpedo I enjoy

So just from my experience with the pyramides........they benefit from a v notch cut.....a good size notch.........a flat cut ... really makes the cigar strong.....this was my experience...... delicious either way

Haven't had either of these personally. And doubt I will. I dont feel any cigar is worth £45 especially ones with bad construction/ tight draw. I dont beleive it should be seen as "one of those things" either. The odd stick I can understand but of the Cubans I've smoked as many are frustratingly bad quality as have been enjoyable. Buying cuban cigars is like a lottery where quality is concerned so I generally steer clear. It's a shame because when they're good they're really good! That said, I enjoy the content Usman keep up the good work👍💨

They're a bit pricey. The reason I think many people overlook some of the construction issues in cuban cigars is because of the unique flavour. Also, to be completely fair of all the cubans I've smoked it's rare for me to come across a really badly made cigar. In fact I've had more badly made Oliva cigars than Cubans believe it or not lol. I smoke cubans everyday and i can not agree with you. Almost every cigar is perfect and im always buying boxes of a cigar i like. Yeah 1-2 per box are a little too tight but therefor i have a tool to fix it. I also prefer a tighter draw and in nica or domrep you just dont have that, its way to loose the tabacco. Just my opinion

Nice video mate ! For the pyramids torpedoes and all other shaped like that cigars just cut the tip off and use perfect draw tool to unclog it so to speak... same goes with punch :D
