As an NZer, the not-shooting-paratroopers-in-the-air is pretty frustrating, as that was one of our main claims to fame in WW2 on Crete. The poor buggers didn't even jump with rifles but had to retrieve them from separately dropped weapons canisters, so it was a total turkey shoot! Til they got on the ground in sufficient numbers to seize an airstrip anyway, after which point they chucked us off the island. The cost was so great though that they never used paratroopers in a big drop again.

The Geneva convention does not cover paratroopers under a parachute, only pilots as they are considered to have surrendered. It is all rather silly and I'm not convinced is valuable from a gameplay point of view either.

Its crazy how ferige managed to keep Up the pressure in the early Game of Game 1 with only three Coastals one MG and later the two Jaegers. My biggest problem is that i would get overrun by the US Player and loose so much of the Map so that i would run straight into early light vehicles.

Speaking about new factions, I do really hope Relic can refine their campaign map and cover other fronts like invasion of Poland and France, the Pacific, Eastern Front, Western Front and anything else. Reminds me of Dawn of War Dark Crusade.

I think Coastal Infantry are too powerful at the moment. They're extremely tanky and trade well. Pretty sure this same scenario happened in CoH2 with the Osttruppen back in the day. Edit: Also, congrats on your kiddo! Who knew, dude... a little AE on the way.

Personally I'd like to see Coastals have their snares locked behind a side tech

Probably wont happen, but if I got to pick which side tech it'd probably be the medical station on the HQ. No point for a coastal player to upgrade it as its generally more effective to build a med bunker, since you dont pay fuel for it and you sometimes get the casualty clearing refund

Breakthrough has a similar ability now as well, rapid production results in a wirble and marder 3 spawning in in the span of about 10-15 seconds apart from each other if you have the resources. @@AECoH

@@AECoHyou have no idea what you speaking dude 1. Jeep is hard to micro 2. Two jeeps almost impossible to micro when enemy have 4+ inf on map 3. Just after any infantry get one rank, they become totally useless, can't even drop one model before they lose more then 50% hp 4. Only good thing is that advantage at start, 5 min later you are like two units minus, so you are falling behinde... Rifleman are so much better.

@@liaocheng4942 brits aside from arty spam in team games just dont have any real answers to axis problems atm. They are yet anohter victim of Relics addiction to "noob" factions, where a faction is basically unplayable in high level games. Even in coh3 it was like that for months youd only see USF and Wehr

Thanks for your work, AE! I just can't settle with the flat, uninspired optics and sound. Doesn't say it isn't fun to play. Just less interesting to watch and listen to than old COH.
