Lance did poorly even with a relatively healthy team around him. Purdy struggled in that game because the 9ers had 10 STARTERS that were injured and didn't play....Purdy is a better QB without a dought. Trey Lance can't make quick reads and his reaction time is too slow.

I love all these keyboard warriors coming out the woodwork the moment Brock has a bad game, like any OTHER QB in the league, week 7 Stroud struggled (to name one), multiple QB's struggled this week! Name of the game man, different game every given Sunday. Brock's and Mahome's stat lines were nearly parallel at one point during the game(no shot Mahomes is obviously the GOAT of this era) I'm just pointing out what Grant's been saying (looking at you Grant lighten up on the kid who's being silently bullied by the coach with an ego). Grant and his dad even talked about it previously, Kyle burns through QB's like fast food. If he actually opened up a creative mind and worked with these guys, maybe they'd all develop better. Why is Brock trying all these predictable plays this year? Who decided that? The young QB or the head coach that always tells everyone my way or the highway? Honest hot take? Either rebuild an entirely new young and hungry team around the guy (new coach included), or let him get traded to a rebuilding team hungry for wins and not a legacy franchise's bank transfer. This 9ers locker room is filled with superstar egos and a head coach to match it. The super bowl loss last year just triggered all these dudes. A wide receiver thinking he's as good as the ACTUAL 120+ million dollar receivers (all those guys producing unlike he did) bringing in toxic drama to the team with his BS, only to take a season ending injury (enjoy that monetary loss Mr. York). An O-line that doesn't f-ing know who they are, a defense trying to play complimentary football but dealing with an offensive head coach who thinks he knows defense, and a cast of VETERAN players who should be HELPING BROCK bring this team up morale-wise and inspiring the rookies to play like they did last week! Instead, we get Kyle blaming everyone else as usual, veterans with not much to say (Nick Bosa "I wasn't paying attention" f-ing really Nick?!) What was it the Raiders head coach said a few weeks ago? Some of these players are making "business decisions". Angry paragraph rant coming to a close, as a fan Im just frustrated seeing the media and internet "football coaches" destroy a kid with promising potential who just needs the right coach. Brock's already proven he can play, the problem is everything that made him good last year (players included no cope), Kyle has blundered through like a kid who forgot he had chores before doing whatever he wanted. This off season was supposed to be refining this team, not wadding up what worked in paper ball, binning that shit and saying "Well I'm an effing genius so whatever I come up with will work." GRANT, Grant, stick to you true honest to god selling point that works. KYLE is the problem and has been. Jimmy G was never the best and he got to a super bowl, but because of GOOD TEAM CHEMISTRY, not a genius playmaker, not a hall of fame QB, just a team that respected each other and fought tooth and nail to make shit happen. The energy from last year evaporated over the off season and it's an easy tell, and it's getting to this young QB whether he admits it or not. When an army falters, do you look at the troops first or the general? All I'm saying.

To add to my point the chiefs had like no offensive "weapons" and yet because the TEAM believed in Mahomes AND Andy Reid, they pulled through and are the only 6-0 team in the league. THE TEAM makes the win happen first and always! Reid is an amazing coach because he breathes that freaking mentality. His creative plays and improvised on the spot changes? Only accomplished because the QB and the players deeply, truly respect and believe in him. Reid doesn't bully his team to get what he wants out of them, he ELEVATES them. We all argue about QB's elevating gameplay, how about we start addressing COACHES elevating TEAM play???
