Hi. Thank you for making this video. Not many of these in English. Could you explain why you started winding the first coil at segment number five and not at segment number 10? Is this typical of most universal motors? Does it have anything to do with the positioning of the brushes in the machine? Also, can you confirm the path the electricity takes to get from one brush to the other one? It looks to me, that the electricity has to pass through six consecutive coils to complete the circuit to the other brush. So energising all six coils at once. Would I be right about that? Is this called LAP winding, and is LAP winding the most common in universal motors? I think the other type of winding is called WAVE winding. Thanks for your help in trying to understand a confusing subject. Regards Stephen.
