Coin and Gold Hunt at the FCM Middlecamp Gold Claim on 2-18-2023

First Class Miners Club members Jim and Yvonne organized a "Coin and Gold Hunt" in the main wash at the FCM's Middlecamp Gold Claim in the Eagle Mountains. 40 Quarters, 50 Dimes and 40 Nickels were buried in the hunt area. At the end of the hunt the quarters could be spent in a gumball machine. The gumball machine contained 40 plastic spheres that each contained 1/2 ounce of sand, 4 of the spheres also contained 1/4 gram of native placer gold. Admission to the hunt was free to FCM members.
