Hi Andy I’m currently doing research to make my own as a Christmas gift for my two younger siblings and your ideas have given me a great foundation of knowledge to begin so thank you. I’m not the smartest cookie in the box so if you are still active or even interested I’d love some additional support as I’m not sure where to start as I’ve never worked with electronic components and have minimal carpentry experience. Hi Andy, looking good, you must be making some great progress now. I went down the stepper motor route originally with the start of my build but there was not enough torque, so ended up doing the same as you 12v car wiper motor plus 12v power supply, and the speed is pretty much spot on. I cant really describe my build as of yet as I am just making it up as I go along, but so far I have made the pusher mechanism and pusher block, so will update with pics soon. All the best. Alex

Alex Jay Hey Alex. My pusher is all done! I just have not finished making the videos! I have a very poor quality video of it working that I shot with my Iphone so I may stick that online. Good news on getting your mechanism working. Car wiper and 12V power supply seems to be the way to go. Let me see how it looks so far!

The wall, did you just attach it to the sides? :-\ - also, did you put uip a vid of it with the coins in ? - I can't find one :( - good job btw, Im sure the kids have loved it!

andycharger Thanks Andy, I am not 100% sure exactly how I missed this video!! Lol - I seen the other parts! - That is really a good job you did, I wish I seen your videos before I started building my own - I think I got too excited about building one that I didnt meassure wood properly before cutting! - I, like yourself have used a window wiper motor, and after a lot of trial and error, maanged to get it on the pushing platform, my problem now is the length is not very good because the motor was quite large if that makes sense! - so only maybe 1 coin can sit on the top platform at the moment, and maybe only 7 in the bottom! ARGH - Your videos have been great though and gives me some hope that I can save what I have built so far with a couple of changes -

Actually im not sure If I can save what I made, It looks like your length from back to front was 800mm, mine is only 600mm, and that extra couple of hundread if prob what I need ! Doh ! Lol
