No problem. I agree, unfortunately many see it in that way. But it is still very early in its development and is therefore still very volatile. For beginners it is best to do your research and only invest what you are comfortable with. It is best treated as a long term investment. No one knows if it will go up or down in the short term but if you believe in the technology over the long term it has a promising future.

Haha yes the app does have glitches from time to time when there's a lot of volume going on. (Not every time, but it has happened occasionally). I watched your video and saw you found the status page 👍 If you ever experience any issues they usually have a report of it on that status page and they're usually pretty good about keeping us in the loop and fixing the issue as soon as possible. But yes, for any cryptocurrency needs it would still be my primary platform of choice. I am hoping going forward they put more resources in reducing outages. But as far as ease of use goes it is still the best cryptocurrency app to get started with. Just keep in mind cryptocurrency is a much more volatile asset than stocks, so never invest more than your comfortable with losing (because it can have wild fluctuations in price).

No problem, I'm glad it was helpful! If you are paying your supplier btc then yes you would need his bitcoin wallet address to send him bitcoin from your bitcoin wallet. You won't need his litecoin or ethereum wallet address unless he requests payment in those forms of cryptocurrency. It's always best practice to send a very small amount of cryptocurrency the first time you send to a new address before sending a larger amount just to make sure the address you were given is correct. So if you need to send your supplier a larger payment you may want to send a small test transaction and check with your supplier that it was received before you send a larger amount.

Yea if you don't want to use one of the compatible authenticator apps you can always enable Coinbase's 2 factor authentication to send you a text message.

Thank you. Yes there are fees for both buying and selling on Coinbase. To buy with a credit/debit card there is a 1.5% fee and to buy through your bank account there is a 4% fee. To sell there is also a 1.5% fee to withdraw to your bank account. There are no fees to hold your cryptocurrency in their wallet. You never have to buy one full bitcoin if you don't want to. The great thing with cryptocurrency is you can buy fractional pieces of them. So for example you could buy .0001 bitcoin, .001 bitcoin, .01 bitcoin, .1 bitcoin etc.

For the most secure storage after you buy Bitcoin off an exchange I recommend transferring your Bitcoin to a hardware wallet such as the Trezor or Ledger Nano S. A hardware wallet is ideal for long term storage.

Thanks. So this is the transaction fee. If you go back and look at your past purchases, the price it shows per Litecoin includes the fee. So this fee is why it is showing that 305 average price. You can also see this fee breakdown in real-time when you are about to buy as well. And yes, there is always a 1.5% fee to buy/sell via bank or a 4% fee to buy/sell via credit/debit card.

Yes you can also buy bitcoin from your USD wallet in coinbase. The only way to fund your USD wallet is to sell some bitcoin or other cryptocurrency you already have on coinbase and then instead of withdrawing your sale to your bank or PayPal account, you would select withdraw to your USD wallet. Then the next time you wish to buy cryptocurrency you would select the funding source as your USD wallet instead of your bank or credit card. Coinbase will then make the purchase using the funds in held in your USD wallet.

Thanks, I appreciate it. Yes, when you purchase any amount of bitcoin on Coinbase you lock in that amount of bitcoin at the current price. The value of that amount of bitcoin fluctuates but that amount of bitcoin never changes. So if you bought a certain amount of Bitcoin you would still have that same amount of bitcoin 4-5 business days later, it's just that the value of your bitcoin would move in tandem with the price fluctuations. The same applies for selling and withdrawing to your bank. You still lock in the price at the time of sale.

Thanks! This is not accurate. After you buy cryptocurrency you can send it to any mobile wallet, a hardware wallet, use it for transactions to buy things, or keep it on the exchange for trading. You can do many things after your buy cryptocurrency, but for long term storage I recommend sending them to a hardware wallet for safe storing.
