This video based on umar marvi folklore. Which is famous in sindh. The protagonist of the story is Marvi, a young Khaskheli girl of the Panhwar tribe abducted by the then-ruler of Amarkot, the king Umar Soomro, who wanted to marry her because of her beauty. And make her queen Upon her refusal, she was imprisoned in the historic Amarkot Fort for several years., Mari loved nothing but her homeland and after years when she returned, her tribe warmly welcomed her, that story of marvi expressed in the song. Mari chose her homeland other the castle .the peacock shows the marvi when she comes and eat the simple food of her homeland.❤ I hope all of you understand it

This song is from Cholistan desert Sindh back ground where peacock has got very significance in that area. Hundreds of thousands of wild peacocks are there in Cholistan and they play a significant role in that culture.

Pakistan is a country of multiple different ancestors, and languages which all constitute the same nationality. That reflects upon so many different things including its music. Unheard of. English people speak English, Thai people speak Thai, Chinese speak Mandarine, Turks people speak Turkish., Germans speak German. But Pakistan shocked me, Multiple ancestors, each with a different language part of the same nationality. I never seen that before. That's what I love about Pakistan, its uniqueness. This is That desert south eastern part of Sindh Pakistan, Peacock are very comman bird there. People of Thar love and care very much this bird it is symbolic. You can go there Thar Desert from Hyderabad city. It will take 3-4 hours drive from Hyderabad. People there are so friendly and humble. Mostly belongs to Hindu Community.

Due to resistance of Marvi, he released her after few months. In this song, Peacock represents Marvi.
