Just look at the view count of original song; This was by far the most famous and globally appreciated song of CS season14. One thing i must say is that a major chunk of brilliamce and charm of CS songs is their poetic, beautiful lyrics which you have been totally ignoring in all your reactions. Do read the subtitles, you will like these if you love music. Ali Sethi is a brilliant singer, composer and song writer. You can easily find his other work on KZbin and even in previous seasons of CS. For Shae Gill, unbelievably, this was her first ever proper song performance and she became an instant hit. As i suggested before, every CS season14 song has a behind the scenes video called "magical journey". Do watch it for this song, even if you don't react to it. Ali Sethi lives between US and Pakistan and is a Harvard grad in South Asian studies. I study abroad in Bangladesh and when I tell you Pasoori is famous... I mean this bish went viral upon viral over here. Pasoori was played everywhere and for everything. Everyone knows this song. And how its pronounced here is with like a "reed" sound at the end (but really short and fast into like 1 syllable. So Pa-sor-r/d-ee...kind like how "th" happens its like a r/d=ree-d kinda sound... you just really need to hear it said out loud lol
