Jaffer's voice is like honey; thick and sweet and so soothing! One of the most romantic Pakistani male voices in my opinion. I could bliss out listening to him all day. I do prefer when he sings in Urdu over Punjabi though. And even though I loved his voice here I was hoping the song would pick up a little at some point. Hoping there's more to listen to from Kaavish this season. I'm not prepared for Jaffer to sink into oblivion again so soon! I need more!!

Funny how art imitates life imitates art. This song is making me cry. I love Jaffer's voice. Healing to my bruised heart :) This is one of the best of Coke Studio. Full stop. Kavish is name of Band and Jaffar is singer. Before Cocke Studio he used to play for Kavish and this particular performance, you can see some new faces: they are from Kavish.

kaavish was the name of the band jaffer use to sing for. you should listen to "nindya re" by jaffer he sang for drama Behad of Fawad Khan

I don't get why people expect season 8 to be exactly like seasons 1-6. The point of Coke Studio is to showcase all Pakistani talent, which is not just confined to Qawwali and Rohail Hayat. Even Rohail featured younger artists, New Age music, and other genres. Those videos just weren't as popular. Strings have done a great job bringing their own flair to this season and have contributed so much to the Pakistani music scene in general.
