He is extremely shy from what I know, and really doesn't like cursing or doing anything not family friendly in his shows/etc. I remember when the Lonely Island song came out, he did an interview where the was really really pushing to not have to say fuck in the song, or pussy for that matter. Interestingly, he seems more comfortable with female interviewers. But also, he seemed more comfortable in the 90s and early 2000s interviews because the questions were more based on the music, not personal life. But he's definitely shy/slow to warm up to people because he is great friends with Regis & Kelly and is super comfortable in interviews with them
