JB's playing progressions: 1st 2 verses - learns dudes song Next 2- plays along Next 2 - adds accent notes Next 2 - masters the chord progressions and improvs. Remaining song - sprinkles JB magic dust all over. What a classy master! Satchmo spirit lives on in U✌❤🎹

I've been a fan of Rateliff for a while, but there's something about Batiste... he's just the most likable dude. Batiste is obviously a virtuoso on his instrument, but his genius is that he lives in the groove more than just about any musician I can think of, no matter the style or piece. Seems like he finds that heart of the music and gets comfortable. ...Great video.
