the inherent racism in these comments is unreal. jennifer lawrence (who i also like) is "hyper" super energetic and says whatever comes to mind when she does interview but people love and praise her for it and enjoy her personality. gina rodriguez has basically the same lively personality but she's labeled as "loud" "colorful" or "too much." this is the constant characterization of latin women and its fucking sick. she's being herself and has a great energy to her much like jennifer but since she's not a white woman she gets label negatively and criticized for it. y'all don't even recognize how ignorant youre all being.

there is no "racism card" it's not like a special pass to get ahead on a ride to disney. Truly ignorant people use that as an excuse to deny the glaring inherent biases in everyday life. Race is everywhere and involved whether you intend it to be or not. POC don't get to just "stop making it about race" because that's all they ever have to hear. Just as stupid as saying "I don't see color." Jlaw is lauded by the mass media and praised for her "unconventional" personality. Yes there are people who are turned off by it but the majority have praised her for it whether you want to acknowledge that or not.

The comments are mad, some people have an exuberant personality OR Gina could be an anxious person. Anxiety makes you speak fast and it is no joke, if she has anxiety you feel stressed and you react like this. Even seemingly outgoing people suffer from anxiety. At least Gina is genuine and doesn't try to be false like some actors doing interviews. She is chatty and interacting with Stephen instead of being awkward like some famous people being interviewed. Who knows if Gina is just exuberant or she may be an anxious person. I like her. At least fame doesn't appear to have made her snooty.
