0:11 Jumping out of the truck was so hard because it was really high up and there were no running boards, and I had to drop right down into a puddle of mud and I was so sad to get my white dress dirty 0:34 We were shooting in a beautiful field far outside of Nashville. We didn’t know exactly what I was going to wear for the video so when it was time to shoot, I ended up changing into my white dress behind the truck in the field and it had just recently rained, so I had to be very careful to not get it dirty before we started shooting, and also be discreet around the crew. And I didn’t have a mirror to look in, but I trusted my glam team and knew I loved the dress. 1:08 Walking on the gravel road in my cowboy boots was actually kind of hard because I felt really wobbly while trying to sing and walk smoothly 1:19 I was getting stressed as the sun was setting and I was really hoping we were going to get all the footage we needed while there was enough light. 1:30 There were so many cute cows off in the distance as silhouettes near the dancers. I loved it, I really wanted to go say hi to them 1:58 It was hard to not be able to watch the dancers the whole time dancing as silhouettes on the hilltop at dusk, such a beautiful sight, but I had to stay looking at the camera the opposite direction.

The question is why you have to look back like why it’s past. Why did you leave? Why could you not be satisfied with a relationship that wasn‘t perfect even though you say now you didn‘t regret any little bit of the relationship. I mean the term ‚you‘ generally now, not you personally. But this song shows a problem of a lot of women which makes love unnecessarily complicated. Even if it’s not perfect (which will always be the case because humans aren‘t perfect), if it works well, why not arrange with it? I‘m sorry to write so much, but I understand the subject of this Colbie‘s song very well and as I‘m a man and a keeper in love relationships (and always will be), I would always suffer from this and thus the song infuriates me.

Colbie, twice your songs pulled me through most of the night working on papers during my 7 year academic journey so far and both were very memorable experiences. I played "never gonna let you down" on loop back in Junior year of college while trying to stay awake to complete an important paper the day before it was due. A couple weeks ago I listened to "hold on" on loop while also completing a paper the night before it was due when i was in a tough spot. It doesn't sound like much, but it has a deeper meaning for me that the Lord will never let me down, and that I need to hold on and keep going on and working to do his will. Your music and voice are so beautiful that it can speak to me on a different level than the original lyrics maybe intended, and help me to keep on, knowing it's all worth it, and that God will never let me down. Human love and the words we find for it can be reflective of God's love for us and I have found that true of aspects of several of your songs. Jesus proved to us He loves us and believes we are worth it, by dying on the cross to save us and rising again so that we might also live a new life in relationship with him. I pray that he may guide you on your new journey and draw you into his love, since his relationship is the most worth it, since he will never let us down, and he will hold onto us when we feel we cannot go on. I remember hearing Bubbly on the radio all the time back in 07, I turned 9 that summer, and I was mesmerized by your voice, the sweet instrumental and innocent lyrics.
