I used to see drum street performers do this. The difference is it was 2 guys on 2 kits. One would play a steady back beat while the other danced around adding color, then they would trade off.

I don't know... playing the tough guy, doing his catches on the back symbals.. seen him doing that with allmost all video's. I do not believe that SugarFoot is an exeptional drummer. He can hold a beat, sure... but I find him boaring....
