I don't go to Stanford but feel like I know the culture and campus as well as the students because I am always walking or biking through it. It's a huge beautiful campus and I've always had an enjoyable experience talking to the students there. Super smart kids and highly motivated.

This video pushed me up. Stanford is always my dream T.T. People there despite being excellent, still spread out the dynamic energy, which is the most thing that I like. I love Stanford!!!!!
@robertwilsoniii2048 Жыл бұрын
This is accurate. Stanford wants students to succeed, filters out bullshitters and bad people and what you get leftover are a bunch of happy, nice, good people passionate about learning. It's impossible for such a place to really suck.
@thesneakygamer4343 Жыл бұрын
I guarantee you there are bad people everywhere. Maybe Stanford has a slightly better culture than others, but at the baseline every university has competitive and cutthroat people. This is just how society functions unfortunately

@Young Young i think by character they didn't mean morally, because it is very easy to be tricked by a bad person if they pretend to be good. They meant having an optimistic attitude and passionate about learning, not at all wage oriented and rather interested to bring some change in the world.

I wouldn't say that at all. You're probably better off going to HYPM. Stanford enforces some pretty bizarre policies.

@@cansuaygen I don’t know about western countries but in Asian countries lots of us think studying subjects like medicine or engineering help get higher-paid job and higher social status. These people seem very chill and laid back and like your average young adults. I thought Stanford wanted 5.0 gpas, 1600 sat and 35 act score, 20+ ap classes all 5s, an insurmountable amount of extracurriculars and community hours if not some national awards and whatnot and it just seems that most of the students here were just cruising and relaxing through high school given some of their responses and don’t really seem like valedictorians and extremely rich folks. Like your average high school kids who do just fine but are in one of the best ivy league schools ever. “Okayy..” is a crazy reaction for something like Stanford😢😭

Become school valedictorian, 5.0 all years round gpa, perfect SAT and ACT scores, every honor and AP class your school can offer, 5s on all of them, as many arts and electives as your school offers that you can get into, as many extracurriculars as humanly possible that especially demonstrate the field you want to get into. An unfathomable amount of community hours, 1st place national awards, and an extreme drive and unparalleled motivation. With this, you have a low probability chance of getting in, without it, it’s most probably not going to happen. Wish you much luck.
