COLD AF!!! Batrazzi tracks test-run cut short 🥶 K5 FMS FCX24 and RATLAS 6x6

Temps were below freezing today. Put both trucks out for about three hours before running them. The K5 kept glitching or stalling possibly due to the freezing temps, but the tracks really performed better than expected. The K5 ran up and down the micro snow bank a few times but it didn't want to risk burning the motor since I didn't know what the issue was. The K5's steering and drive felt heavy (probably frozen. The 6x6 has lots of traction but was no match for the tracks. I don't think either of these little rigs were meant for before freezing temps, but the Atlas 6x6 did seem to handle the cold better. I have recently tried the Batrazzi track set on my Smasher V2 (video on my channel 😀). I noticed that when it is very cold, the tracks can be stuck by cold snow. Very nice Ratlas 6x6 👍😀

I watched your video. You have some really nice running footage of the Smasher on tracks. That thing looks like it can really claw through deep snow with the high torque motor you installed. Thank you for the info and feedback!

Thanks for the comment. They actually do well in all types of snow, as long as it's not too cold to freeze the tracks. In this video, temps were below 0°F which caused the tracks to freeze. I have another video on this channel showing the same tracks in fresh powder snow. They are sold as "simulation" accessories, but they do better than tires in some situations.
