This version ABSOLUTELY SMOKES…! I’ve seen Cold Chisel on a number of occasions; this live show was definitely one of the greats!!

Great videos. I reckon Standing on the Outside needs one. The visuals from the live video on the same set as Choir Girl would be perfect!

Jimmy's a very competent guitar player..

Obviously not referring to him playing in this video. Looks very awkward and he hardly plays a chord.

Funny you know. Even Jimmy Barnes is highly critical of the Breakfast at Sweethearts album. It's quality of recording etc. I still love it. I love the energy of the album. You feel you at there with the band as rehearse. And this track, indeed the whole album, is dominated by Ian's brilliant guitar and Steve's melodic drum rhythms. Not bad 😎

But this is not live, you can clearly hear the cut-over to the studio track at :23. The 0100 timestamp and video footage is from Death in Brunswick. Chisel never went on at 0100. Jimmy would have been passed out by then ! 😂 @Mikko can say where the actual live footage came from ? Could it be super 8 ? (which could be why no audio)

@@paulcleary7387 On the night that saw Chisel and Swanne at Bombay, I have three distinct memories. 1. Was following some 'dork' in suit jacket back from stage. Who wears a suit at the Bombay in the 8os ? When he turned around it was Don Fucking Walker. I died 2. Some guy guy in the crowd got the absolute shit punched out of him in a fight and after the bouncers rescued him and stood him up, he pumped his fist in the rhythm of whatever song it was that Chisel was playing. His face was smeared with blood but he dint care. 3. At the end of the night some guy obviously pissed ooff the bouncers, so they flogged him in the venue and then dragged him into the stairs and THREW him repeatedly from one landing of the stairs to next, all, the way down to ground level, then tossed him out in the back alley behind Sydney Rd. Ahhh the 80s ..... The other
