Ive been a cold chisel fan for years due to my dad love for the band but tbh ive only been introduced to this song in the last 12 months and its become one of my favourite cold chisel songs.

As a teenager I realised just how bloody sophisticated this song was. It annoys me when people who don't understand Cold Chisel, miss the band's many faces. Yes, one of loudest, most energetic acts we've produced. But the jazz, the blues, the country, the everything.

My beautiful love and soulmate passed away suddenly 21/10/21 played me this 43 years ago when I was 16 this was the first song I remember hearing and my love affair with cold chisel started … The party’s so dry without you Peter forever broken-hearted but wonderful memories live in my heart ❤️😢

Don Walker’s words and music are so evocative. Perfection and the band backs it up. Absolute gem of a blues song.

Walker took this band to the next level. Something more than Angels, TMG or AC/DC. Not knocking those bands, just… another level. You can see with his work with Greg Perkins and Charlie Owen. No wonder those misfits followed him to Armidale for a year. Dr Walker. Fuck me, the author of this amazing song has a doctorate in physics. Fuck me.

Just met with Rod Willis, the Chisel manager during the 1980s. He just released a great book ”Ringside” of him and Chisel and much more.
