Just a heads up you can cut aluminum with a wood blade.

I just did this not realizing the saw is 15amp and the controller is only 8. Why wouldn’t something 15+amp work?

That style controller chops up the signal, 8 amp or 15 amp, it still gets chopped up and you get half the power
