The Hunder Sand Dunes are a popular tourist destination in the Nubra Valley of Ladakh, India. The dunes are located about 10 kilometers from Diskit village and are considered to be some of the highest in Ladakh. The dunes stretch over an area of about 7 kilometers long and 2 kilometers wide, and are surrounded by snow-clad mountains. The sand is predominantly soft and golden in color, giving them a unique and picturesque appearance
Khardung La, also known as Khardung Pass, is a mountain pass in the Leh district of Ladakh, India, at an elevation of 5,359 meters (17,582 feet) above sea level. It's the highest motorable pass in India and is often called the highest road in the world. The pass is located on the Ladakh Range, north of Leh, and connects the Indus river valley and the Shyok river valley. It also forms the gateway to the Nubra Valley, beyond which lies the Siachen Glacier
