Today is so easy if you want some kind of three, you can order and is send to you. I remember my granddad use to buy on farm markets, use cart and horse and go to far away village to bring some trees and not always what he want. I think tree have weter granules in roots to keep them fresh. I am using them in my garden when I plant something as our weather is very harsh. 🎈

I really need to consider visiting the local nursery and buying some plants better suited to my climate, as forgiving as it is. So far I've mostly just planted things I get at the GROWcery store. But I do have two pomegranates in my "mini-orchard" - grown from seeds I took out of a Wally World fruit. I do hope those produce well for you up there.

Now figs ...how do i know if my fig will fruit. I learned it will have two bumpps. I am only seeing single bumpsthat soon leaf out. I should add more bonemeal though. God bless you and yours.

Pomegranate takes 5-6 years to bare fruit under ideal conditions. Lots of heat and humidity. Hopefully these Russian varieties do better in our cooler climate. Not sure about bumps on the figs. I hadn't heard of that before. We just wait until the Summer to see fruit forming on ours. Will look for bumps on our most mature plants. We will be fertilizing fruit trees this weekend if it stops raining
@LiliansGardens
@LiliansGardens Жыл бұрын
@@EssayonsFG Lots of heat and humidity? i hope your plant gets those and start flowering and fruiting. Having two varieties increases the chance of pollination so your two plants are good companions. I will await my figs fruiting in summer, they sure grow beautiful large leaves though.
