The few times it did start it sounded like it had some definite misfire/some cylinders not firing. Seems like the timing is off as well judging by the frequent puffs from the carb and the fact it even though it seemed to want to start, it just wasn't completely catching as it def. seemed to be getting enough fuel perhaps even too much as it started to not fire at all when they were giving it all those pumps in a row.

I think the timing is off. Because watch it puff smoke out of the carb. Shouldn’t be pushing air that way

The engine is very old weak pummping it could flood the engine it needs to be replaced by new up to date strong new big engine
