Great job...as always...I almost pulled the trigger on this one, but the Ti AD10 and Magnacut Recon One are higher up on the acquisition food chain... I often put a mirror polish on both the washers and the contact surfaces of the large folder tri-ad locks. It can make a huge difference.

Back in the day, the Original Company used to use Titanium in a lot of their Knives. My first two Ti-Lite's had a full Set of Titanium Handles. So did my old Ach Angels, with their Billit Titanium Handles. So, using Titanium isn't new for Cold Steel. :-) But, I totally agree that this is the first Modern, EDC or Gentleman's, or High-End, Style Folder, from Cold Steel, that fits into the Mainstream of Modern, High-End Folder Types. I think you are absolutely right about that. :-) I like this one for those times that you need a slim and easy to conceal, from Sheeple, Folder for SDUEDC. :-) Peace, Stiletto :-)

This is the least "Cold Steel" knife that Cold Steel has ever made, but I do have one, and I have to say that I like it! I do agree about the placement of the lock.

Similar to you, I have 2 groups of knives. The first group are my collectibles. The second are knives I use. This Cold Steel is one I would use. Great review. Thanks

This is the first Cold Steel folder in quite a while I've found desirable. The last folder I bought was the liner lock Stiletto the Ti-Lite 4 inch. Otherwise, it's been fixed blade knives from them.

11:18 Why couldn’t you cut a loop or two out of the spring? I did that on a Manix 2 to reduce the preload on the lock (~1.5 loops). Cool knife.

@ElCapAddict 💯 you can, I'm more trying to compress with my channel locks before I ✂️, but that is a solution.. this has been in pocket since check in, gonna take something cool to displace it.

I just got karve sometimes i use my thumb to close the atlas locks just hold sideways and thumb it 😊

They are not nylon. They run on PB &a thin teflon washer which leads to killer action once broke in. (Same setup that the original qsp penguin runs on that everybody seems to love)
