Cold Steel has been a longtime favorite of mine. I recently got my oldest grandson an SRK-C and a PEACEMAKER for my own edc. I've never batoned with any knife, nor would I. I use a hand axe or tomahawk.

Yeah I'd love to own a K-Bar military knife with a leather handle, but they are so expensive. This is a nice alternative
