I ordered one of these several years ago. I'm guessing mine slipped past Cold Steel's quality control because the handle was quite loose. If anyone else encounters this problem, it's likely an easy fix, I was able to fix mine by unscrewing the pommel and adding a small piece of cloth cut like a washer. Can confirm fairly sharp factory edge and good grip. Edit: this feels great to swing btw
