Tuff Lite & Mini are one of the few knives on my list where I have one NIB on the shelf as a backup in case I lose one. Can’t be without. Plus the colors are rad, so you really need 4 of them.

Oh the Tuff Lite! My very first Cold Steel. I’ve bought a truckload of knives since, of various brands, that are made of better materials and more expensive… but if ever I needed to “actually” cut serious things, I always come back to this humble knife. One of the few models I actually bought twice.

I've had Cold Steel since the old Brooklyn smasher, eskrima stick, tanto days...and I can say without a doubt that the Triad lock is no joke and it's no gimmick. I remember I used to use the mini-tuff lite and it got stolen one day. I wanted to buy another and they were discontinued. Took me years to find a new one on eBay and of course I purchased it. I'm really glad to see that the mini tuff lite is back for sale, it's a fantastic knife. Thinking of adding a full size tuff lite as a carry (recently lost my "CompetitorSHAW Clash") since I've always had great luck with Cold Steel. Anyone on the fence about tuff lite series knifes, don't be. They are an amazing value for what you get and the lock is almost overbuilt, it can take some serious punishment without fear of collapsing on you.

Always have muy tuff lite in muy 5th pocket, great EDC knife. Using It now 4 years without problems and super easy to scharpen

I bought mine about a year ago at my local sporting goods. My only gripe was the sharp edge around the thumb slot on the right side (left hand opening) it came with. I used a round saw chain file to smooth it and it's good to go.

Love the Mini Tuff Lite- been using it as my EDC for almost 2 years now. Perfect pocket knife.

The Tuff Lite Mini is my favorite "5th pocket" tool. I use it all the time. Razor sharp out of the box.

Tuff lite serrated is one best work knife I switched to the super edge love the super edge very small fixed blade

I love my Tuff Lite. It's light enough I can keep it in my shirt pocket at work for occasional scraping and opening, and the steel has held up super well. The wharncliffe blade is so easy to sharpen on a strop, and it takes a hair shaving edge. Add the tri-ad lock to the mix and it becomes one of - if not the - strongest folder for the weight available! Plus for the price it can't be beaten as a edc or "resharpenable utility knife." I prefer it for most things over a replacable blade utility knife, especially because I don't like the risk of a utility knife blade snapping or chipping, whereas I don't worry about that with the Tuff Lite. I'd love to try the Tuff Lite Mini someday.

My coworker has one of this little knife for over a year now. I reshaped the knife for him and can tell you my experience. The edge hold up very well.

Besides the goofyness of the video this is hands down my favorite work knife and one of the best designs I’ve seen in my 20+ knife hobbyist life. The grip, ergos, blade shape, grind, steel, lock.. everything is working man perfection and it doesn’t rob you dry.

You should make knives & broad heads out of Obsidian volcanic glass is sharper than a surgical scalpel , some surgeons prefer obsidian scalpels over surgical steel scalpels.

I really like those various small offerings, but for me I prefer an upgraded blade steel... 14C28N or 154cm. To me, they would be worth any price uptick.

Dont sleep on Aus8, its a little dated nowadays but its prrfect for tuff lite..it holds an edge reasonably well if you arent being dumb with it but sharpens up really easy. I carry a 600 grit diamond stone in my.pocket and a couple swipes brings it back to hair popping sharp in a few seconds
