DOA was a little sloppy at times with the snares. Every stick movement needs to be together. But they were still good. Cold steel were together you can tell they play with each other and try to mimic the next man movement. The only college that give them hell is Norfolk. It’s always a good battle with those two! Cold steel for the win though!

Not gon hold you, DOA lost this one. After MONTHS of calling out Cold Steel and trash talking, They got smashed.After finally seeing them battle each other, I can say that Cold Steel is the better of the two. They got the cadences, the energy, the skill, and the showmanship. I've seen DOA battle many other drumlines with so much confidence, but it wasn't there this time. And last but not least: Cold Steel talked shit to their face. DOA talked shit after Cold Steel already left the gym. That right there speaks for itself.

All I have to say being a Bongo Brother from Marching 101 is DOA keep practicing you’ll get there. Back in the day (‘81-‘84) Coldsteel always lost to us until the movie “Drumline” came out, then they thought it was about them, now I have to say they have their stuff together. Now I say MDFS is number 1, Coldsteel number 2, DOA number 3, Benedict number 4, Bongo Brothers number 5, FAMU number 6, BCU number 7, Howard and Hampton number 8. Southern, Jackson, and Grambling drumlines can’t really rate them yet.
