I have never even done the ice cube test because my doctor didn’t think it was necessary. If I took it now I would probably go through a systemic reaction just doing it now but when I was 4 I would have just gotten hives. Also my reactions have changed too. It used to just be hives even when I was breathing it in but it would still be every possible thing imaginable including sweat and tears. Now the only hives I ever see are when I sweat or am crying because of my migraines that I have but it is also rare for me to cry with headaches anyway because I am not a big crier. I rarely ever cry because of emotions and that is probably a good thing because of my hives every single time. My reactions are mainly systemic now and mainly because of my school’s ridiculous temperature control. They can’t control it and some of the classrooms don’t even get heat. Even though it is currently winter where I live I haven’t had an outside reaction since 2019 because most of my reactions are ac related and I don’t stay outside for very long and I know that is accurate because I have a record of every single reaction I have ever had on my phone

Systemic reactions are the worst by far, I hate them 😩 I usually only get hives when I get wet and cold, so tears, after being sweaty, getting out of the shower, rain etc. its so weird how this condition works. We only did the ice cube test because we had ice and it was such an easy test to see if this weird and rare condition could be possible, my doctor didn’t request it, I just told him I did it showed him some photos and that was good enough for him.
