Cold War CZ-75 Pre B Overview

For the past 15 years I have had a pre-model B CZ75 which was made in 1992 and out of the hundreds of pistols I have owned it is one that I have always kept and ranks up there as one of my favorites.

I have a 1991 dated pre-B CZ85. It came with an extra magazine and I bought one more back then. I got a 10 rounder more recently but it doesn't fit. I swapped out the grips for checkered wood but kept the plastic originals. I plan to install a drop free magazine brake (the magazines don't drop free in the original design). It's a great handgun but I will probably hand it down to one of my sons (I'm in my 70's and have to start winnowing down the collection).

Yes the cz shadow 1 and sp1 cz 75 mags work in the cz 75 pre B. Johan from South Africa.

finally i found one like the one my late dad left me. it needs refinishing and new grips but i cant find any with the old cz logo.

I got one years ago in horrible condition. I had it refinished. works great but yes mags are a pita to find.

Very nice, I have the same gun. I think you said the original sights are three dot. They were not. Original sights were standard military style, no dots on the rear and no white on the front.

You can run Mec Gar CZ 75 B (16 round mags). Not all of them will fit so if you buy them bring your CZ with to be sure.
