Great video with information that’s so rarely shared and yet so simple to convey. The BBC news website has recently reported several deaths from cold water shock without also giving sufficient information on how to avoid it, which is so straightforward to present. It doesn’t even take five minutes to explain it, yet this video is nicely done because it shows the reality of what it’s like. Just go in within your depth for a few minutes, wait that out, and then you’re good to go. Incidentally it’s not even the water companies releasing raw human sewage into our rivers that’s the biggest problem, as vile and unacceptable as that is. Even worse is the effluent from industrial farming, in particular chicken and cow shit. An excellent documentary on this is: rivercide.tv
