Oh sweet Silas looking adorable as ever! Damaris is going to have her hands full with Silas walking now and a newborn soon. She is a great mom and will do so well though. Looking too cold for me.

Oh look! Bubs is walking! Awesome Silas, Hi Damaris! The drone shots are so beautiful. The cows are looking good even through the winter cold. Thank you Carson, your family and farmers and ranchers who work out in the elements so that we can have food on our tables. Still binge watching to catch up. You probably know this so discard it if you do. Coyotes will lure your dog away from you using a female in heat. She w lures the dog to the waiting pack and they attack it, kill and eat it. They will do it in close proximity to where you are also like where the hay bales are being stored, places they know you go. Like I said you probably are aware of this. Thanks for taking us along!

Thanks for another informative video on what a rancher goes through in a brutal winter. Do you have back up generators for your homes? I was wondering how often you lose power in a good ol’ SD snowstorm? I’m originally from Lead, SD now live in Mt. We use to lose power quite often in snowstorms in Lead😳

I know this isn't a video about land leases on blm land but I just saw a podcast about something abreviated as NAC, natural asset company. They said it would affect national parks and blm land as it is owned by the federal government. Sounded like a very power grab/control issue for private entities to control any land enrolled. With all of your ranches dealings with the blm has anything been said about this situation? Sorry for the off topic question, just curious how much you guys have been told about this as it sounds like it may directly affect you?
@sleepranch10 ай бұрын
Yeah I’ve actually heard about that recently. It’s pretty crazy stuff! I’m sure they would push grazing off the public lands so it could have a huge effect on us.

Did you see that dog steer cattle on the range and obey Carson's voice commands his first round up? He's still a pup but is already a great asset. He'll be a legend of a ranch dog one day. Carson is patient and tolerant with him and understands Angus needs to stay part wild to be good at his job. That's my thoughts on it. He's always been a handful but that's a good thing for him.
