I'd also recommend boiling hot water and filling up a rubber hot water pouch and throw that into the bottom of your sleeping bag on super cold camping nights. It gets so hot that I have to remove layers to sleep comfy on a really cold night.

Thanks for great demo, I've just setup a small solar system to avoid the crazy price of electricity here in UK and have got one of these blankets. ❤️👍😎😄

This is exactly what I do. I have the eco flow which charges to 100% in 1 hour the next day plugged into an outlet. (They charge so fast.) If I leave the blanket on high (It's an adjustable electric blanket which I recommend because some are just on or off and I can get too hot)... If I leave the blanket on high all night it will totally deplete the eco flow. But if I leave it on low it will only halfway deplete it. And since the electric blanket is inside a very warm sleeping bag you don't need to have it on high. Anyway I got the idea sort of on my own but I see that you do the same thing. I also have a mini fire extinguisher in my van in case my electric blanket decides to catch anything on fire. .

Hey been contemplating a similar setup. So 250wh lasts 8+ hours with a 12V electric blanket? Just wanting to make sure a 250wh battery is big enough for 2 nights of use. Let me know what you think!
@carmenmartinez2882 Жыл бұрын
I’m curious about it too.

Use it sparingly and it should be enough. Honestly, I have only ever used it for an hour or so when i get in and an hour or less when I wake up. If you have a decent sleeping bag you probably wont want it on all night. I have never used it all night.

I have a Bluetti AC 70.. 768wh it last 2 nights 6 plus hours of sleep.. the blanket with my 150ah battery last much much longer... Sleep on top of the blanket... When all warmed up the blanket cuts down to 50 percent just choose a blanket with thermostat or one you can program to shut off after so many hours

I’m very curious about these, my set up would be to put over the cot under me to help warm my dogs too, they sleep under the cot (they’re not small dogs) and heat from above will warm them along with their wool blanket, I have a 16 year old dog that gets cold easily and so do I (66 here), maybe running it all night? Do you think it’d be safe? I tent camp. Thanks.

Do you sleep on top of the electric blanket or do you pull it on top of you?
@IncompleteJeep Жыл бұрын
I do both. I find laying on it your skin gets a little warm but with it on top, it can get bunched up if you roll around. I prefer it on top though

Great video, I appreciate the level of detail you go into. How long does the blanket run for on the Jackery?
@IncompleteJeep2 жыл бұрын
I never leave it on all night. Its way too hot for me. I usually turn it on half hour before we get in bed and maybe another half hour to hour after that. It works well for at least two nights with the Jackery 250
@hamidnia72422 жыл бұрын
what was the draw on jackery? then we can calculate. do you have the draw number in watt?
@davidstangeland481011 ай бұрын
It would draw about 45 watts

So on low how many hours on a full charge ??? And maybe a electric blanket hooked to an in line intermittent timer
@IncompleteJeep2 жыл бұрын
It depends on the size of your battery of course. It gets too hot for me all night. I mostly use it to take the cold away and then body heat is sufficient. I suppose with the small jackery it’ll last 1 full night and some battery left over
