I was in high school from 82 to 86. I was heavily into new wave. Such an exciting time to be alive. Now that I’m in my mid-50s, I have a thirst for this music. I find these newer groups just as enjoyable to listen to because they have all of the elements that I remember so long ago. I’ve recently discovered Retro wave. It has a freshness to it. You think you’ve heard it before but you haven’t. I’m looking forward to seeing this band at cruel world. Next month

this track hits so different today. Im suffering through alcohol addiction and this song gives me hope that i need to get out of this hole i put myself into. i hope anyone reading this gets the help they need. This world has definitely gotten darker and i feel as a collective, humanity is suffering with depression.

Agreed completely, you can just kinda feel the darkness everywhere and in everyone. You can see it in people's faces, the way they act and even in their work. People who seem to exude positivity are either exhausting themselves doing so, living a lie, or are so well off the troubles of the world are too distant to bother them yet. I'm pretty severely depressed as well and am also struggling to curb my alcohol consumption, here's to the best for both of us.
