Sublimation is great for making custom shirts and other apparel, BUT did you know it's a great method for decorating hard surface goods?

Here are our recommended instructions for customizing the Diamond "Big Hill" Crystal Awards:
1. Clean the white, polyester coated surface of any debris, dust or oils.
2. Print design on sublimation paper using Sawgrass SG1000 printer. Do not mirror your image. There are a couple of essential items you will need for a sublimation printing business, you can learn about them all here: • How to Start Sublimati...
3. Adhere the transfer to the white side of the diamond crystal, use heat tape to secure it into place.
You can now somewhat see the transfer through the front of the clear crystal, but once we sublimate this, the design will be very clear and vibrant.
4. When putting the award on the heat press, lay it on the lower platen with the white side facing up.
For this crystal award we found that 400 degrees for 200 seconds works best. You also want to make sure you use a light pressure so that the glass does not crack.
5. When time is up, use heat resistant gloves to immediately remove the transfer, revealing your finished crystal award!
