I love Dick VanDyke. I watched him growing up. He did a movie called Yesterday, and he made me cry. It was about a man dealing with alcoholism. He was an alcoholic in his life and he overcame that battle. He also starred in Diagnosis Murder with his son Barry. I love him. I'm glad that Chris Martin is giving him his flowers while he can appreciate them

Dick Van Dyke is awesome, and I loved this video. I mostly remember him from The Dick Van Dyke show, but I have heard of Diagnosis Murder (I've never seen it). I don't think I've ever heard of the movie "Yesterday" but I imagine he did an excellent job. Thank you for watching and commenting. 🙂

Amazing thing was the day before or the day of his 99th birthday a few weeks ago Malibu had a wild fire. He was out with a hose trying to protect the home. He collapsed and could not get up. Neighbors came, got him to safety and kept the fire from his house. He did get to go back to the house but with limited visitors to check on him. Amazing. Hope he is around for many more years ❤ Best wishes to all for a great 2025

I look at death this way if there is an afterlife I'm no saint, but I don't think I've done anything worthy of hell and if there isn't then being dead will bother me as much as not being born did which means it won't. Mr. Van Dyke has the right mentality don't worry about it and enjoy the time you have with the people you care about.

I agree.The eons after my death will be the same as those before my birth to me - as there will be no me - lol. It is far more valuable to have this limited life and cherish it. 🙂
