They played on Jimmy’s very first show, Chris and the band knew Jimmy from KROQ radio station in Los Angeles, that’s why he says they’re friends in the video. KROQ was one of the first stations to play their songs.

I saw them for the first time about 6 months after they were on Jimmy for the first time at the Hollywood Bowl. Loved it so much, I have seen them 5 more times over the years.
