I'm not a Coldplay fan; I've never bought a single, album and don't follow them on Spotify. But, In My Place, The Scientist and Fix You are piped straight from heaven itself. Absolutely magnificent! So I'll never criticise them in terms of talent.

From the moment I heard this song on the radio to this day, I always come back to this song, this song for me is my safe space, my safe haven, it is like a warm hug, it helps me ground my self, it soothes my soul after feeling like a hole is inside my chest, and it fills it with warmth. I love this band so much, they mean so much to me, their music helped me so much, I never really understood what people meant when they say music saved them but when I heard coldplay I finally understood.

I renember when I was 8 years old and my father listened to the scientis, fix you or viva la vida, that´s what made me love this group but... times change and sadly coldplay too. Now they made an album with the dude who produced NSYNC, Backstreet Boys, early Britney Spears... teen pop music. It's just way too pop, and they collaborated with a kpop group for one song... which now, those fans think they own the band. After an overly political album... man, I'm just sad.
