the actual song uses chords in both hands. The ones in the right hand are the same, but you would play Dm, Bb/D, F/C, and then half a bar each of Csus4 and C in the left. it also in my opinion sounds better if you switch the rhythm of the two hands, playing 8 chords per bar in the right.

Taking A4 as a reference, this is 440Hz on an tuned piano. The place Chris Martin recorded this was in Liverpool in an out of tune piano that had 446Hz for A4. Hope this helps.
