This was one of my favorite love stories. All the relationships were just wonderful and it was so well developed and written. I loved it! Sandra and Harry's chemistry was believable and made me root for them.

Right. Reminds me a bit of 'What's Eating Gilbert Grape', another one of my favorites. Just a slow-paced, slice of eccentric small-town Americana. That lil' Mae Whitman is just wonderful. Every time I see something of hers I hadn't seen before she impresses me. Just finished 'Parenthood' and she and Lauren Graham were phenomenal together.

I love this movie. I can relate. Went through a divorce, broken, lost, rejected and at the end of the tunnel, there light, discovered a new love and new life. To hell and back.

Such a beautiful movie with such a beautiful cast and a beautiful interview. This is one of my favorite movies of her and you know what? I miss these kind of movies. The ones who have so much life in them. It's a romantic social movie. It's about life. It's a different era totally. I wish I was living during the 90's and be a teenager during that time. I was born at the late 90's and my general understanding and life experiences are only from the late 2000's and up.

Favorite Movie. Gena Rowland is gorgeous and perfect as the Mom and Sandra reminded me of myself after a divorce and having to come back to a hometown where I left pretty and popular. I had to come back and start over. Harry was perfect. Your daughter in the movie omg! My daughter to the tee. If I could have a wish at 61 it would be to act in a movie. Fat chance of that so I just want to say thank you for making hard times a little easier on us all. ❤️

Just saw this movie for the first time yesterday and I LOVE IT SO MUCH, currently muting the song playing in the video the same way I muted it in the film as it’s a very sad song for me (Make You Feel My Love) because I connect it to the late Cory Monteith, my favorite actor

"The last thing she wants to do is hurt you," ha! (That actress played such a good talk show host.) And the first thing a character like Connie's would want would be a very public humiliation. (That was well acted.) Forrest Whitaker is a fantastic director, this movie is a stand out for a constellation of reasons. May Whitman, for such a young person to think of that Titanic scene and how the musicians continued to play as the ship was going down to perform her character scene with her movie dad leaving...what a brilliant little girl. This is one of my all time favorite movies. Justin Matisse the skunk, was a nice touch.👍🏻

Super Movie with my all time favorite Actress Sandra Bullock. After Loretta Young. She wasnt beautiful in the regular sense but she had something. She could play any kind of role, hence her T V shows all those years. Loved her. They dont make them like they did back then. Only a few, Sandra being one of them and a few other TV actresses not movie actresses.

when it aired in 2001 at the time, ( I know that the movie itself was first made in 1998) but that was on September 11, 2001; Breaking News was interrupting the movie.
