After all of these years and all of the projects I am still amazed to watch Scott build a car out of scraps of sheet metal. Big 👍

I'm always impressed by how neat the body lines he makes come out, having watched and re watched the process numerous times I still can't get over how well he makes these complex shapes and angles.

When you say you whistle a piece up and weld it into place, that's an incredible understatement of the effort, skill, and artistry involved. I'm hard-pressed to weld a patch into my burn barrel, while the work you're doing has to be smooth, contoured, finished and painted. You really are a rust-patch savant of the first order!

Progress = forward motion = motivation to continue. Self-encouragement! I finally learned that after decades of roller coaster morale rides on cars; it was "forced" upon me when going through all my own surgeries and cancers, leaving me unable to do much beyond little tasks on Fred the GTX at a time. Little did I realize it actually helped me to get the car done and maintain motivation! - Ed on the Ridge

Hi Scott. Those little high school patchy poos are great to see. I've been doing some simple (for you) patches in my 32 2 door Ford and it was pushing the boundaries for me. I want to thank you and Kyle for inspiring me to have a go at these type of repairs. Thanks Guys! All the best, Mart in England.

Dat soon? Dang, another year almost over, looking at the Fraser for a few more weeks, then I get to open the cardboard box for another 12 spectacular saves. All classics get proper care on this channel, no holes barred. They get properly and totally removed then ready for paint. Guess when 2024 is dismantled and spread around on the wall, Ash’s Datsun will be red all over again. 😊

I am ALWAYS, amazed, watching Scott fabricating patch panels for these cars, that look better then factory patch panels!!! Yet, Scott says he whistles them up?? Good grief, I'd be like Charlie Brown trying to do this. And, Miss Franker's enjoys running in the Canadian snow. ( Franker's, it's almost time for your winter SureGrip booties,,, I'm sorry to say.) When Scott says "High School Patchy Poos" he means difficulty of metalwork that would floor 90% of so called panel beaters ..... The Datsun does seem to have stood the tests of time rather well though.
