I just rewatched the video and I think if it wasn’t the night before there could have been some magic in blending your vision and Kanye’s. Watch the award winning WWi documentary “They shall not grow old” and how it starts off b&w then you literally get sucked into the screen when it goes to color and the audio picks up with the foliage and voices in the background and you are literally transported to that time in history. It’s brilliant. I think with him locked up and the concept of personalities in the video, there could have been some sort of tragically beautiful juxtaposition between b&w scenes and color scenes. Maybe Kanye saw something like that but unfortunately it just didn’t hit him till later and couldn’t articulate it in time. Idk just the opinion of a random nobody.
