Such a funny Video! Well I agree about the horses v 4 wheelers thing. You will find that a 4 wheeler dont need a chunk of metal nailed on each corner every 4 weeks, 4 wheelers dont need the crap brushed out of their paintwork every day, also when you go to a 4 wheeler in the morning you wont find turds everywhere. One plus side of horse girls though Cole...most of them have a pair of those clippers for doing fancy horsey patterns.....Haircut sorted!....Mohawk even!!! Brian you crack me up, it's great to see you getting some air time. I would have made Cole ride in the trailer with cattle splatter all over him. Nice job!!

As a lad, I always preferred cow poo pox over pig poo pox or chicken poo pox. There was this really deep spring-fed pond on the farm used for stock/farm water and every time us lads would get 'infected' with poo pox, it was off to that pond - sweet on a hot summer's day. In fact, getting 'infected' on those hot days became something of a ritual. Best answer yet I've ever heard about getting bored - HUH - thanks Brian! Another great video Cole! Me thinks you and Brian have the BEST 'father/son' farming channel - keep the vids rolling. Stay safe - be well - many blessings.

I really enjoy your videos. I think you need horses to work and move cattle. I was raised in Osage County Oklahoma and I spent my junior high and high school years working cattle for different ranchers and farmers. We did not have four wheelers back then this is in the 1970s. So you could see I'm a little older than you Cole. Hell I'm probably older than your dad. It doesn't matter if you're a Sod-Buster or a big time Rancher. You've got to have horses to work cattle. You could get a well-trained horse about 4-5 years old that knows what he's doing for a round $2,000 to $2,500. Now you've got to get a good western saddle handmade with your name on the cantel that's gonna run you around $,2500. You need a good horse blanket and pad that's going to run near 40 to $60 a piece then you're Bridal. It should run around $75 with the headstall and everything. Oh one thing you forgot you've got to have a good rope. That I love you Dad will cost you about looks like I think 45. Did you get a farrier every 6 weeks that will run you about $75 each trip. So if you should have everything you need gorgeous under $6,000. That might sound a little bit High but just think you won't have to put gas in and once you learn to ride you have a lot more fun just trying to help you make a decision

Hey Cole! Im from Australia . A little poop isnt so bad unless its from calves with viral scours. It is putrid and runny like a rocket on greased lightning. Horses always make for quieter cattle. We were dirt farmers with cattle but l was lucky that a bush man taught me to ride properly and handle horses at your age. The big thing with horses is to be here when them are born so you can inprint on it straight away and spend time untill it is old enough to brake in . If they are quiet you can do much of the training as your working it in the saddle because they are so quiet. Ps. Ive had more nasty busters of atvs THan i have horses.

Love the father son jokes. Yes horsey people can be strange. Modern cattle raising is easier with motor bikes an 4 wheelers. Horses need a lot of attention and put in a barn when it snows. Horses do need drier land. My nephew also has trouble with the Black Angus getting eye infections. Hope your vaccination for pink eye works for you. It’s wonderful to see your green pastures. Here in Queensland Australia we still have 67% drought declared it is hard.

Reminds me of that Chinese novel I read once, "Spots on the Wall" by Who Flung Dung. I mean Cole gets splattered in cow manure and didn't gag once? The camera man is definitely slacken off over there! If Brian bought horses to work the cattle, Cole would be married within a year, have 12 kids and Brian could grow a really rocking mustache, retire in about twenty years because his grandsons would be old enough to run the operation.......which they would call......."The Ranch!" Netflix would come by with a suitcase full of hundred dollar bills and want to buy Cole's KZbin channel to make a series out of it! Danny Masterson would play Brian's illegitimate son "Rooster" whose mom runs the only bar in Mount Vernon which is a non-profit organization because she gives all the Busch Light away free!
