That reminded me of something I experienced or rather I'm still experiencing. I'm intentionally putting this a few lines down for those who are really interested. I'm not exactly sure when this began, but I think in 2012 or 2013 when I visited meetings of an organization which campaigned against discrimination based on religion (or lack thereof) including against things like dance prohibition (which affects more than just dancing). There I met a young activist and we got to know each other better. Some time later that person moved to my place as a subtenant and joined my pen&paper roleplaying group. Through someone I knew through my activity in a political party I met someone else who also joined my roleplaying group. So this latter person and my subtenant met through me and ultimately fell in love. They have a five year old kid now and they married a few weeks before the kid's first birthday. I was maid of honor at their wedding, we are still playing pen&paper roleplaying games (currently the Dragon Age one), and their kid has been a part of our gaming sessions since birth. The kid loves staying at my place, even stayed over night a couple of times now, loves crafting with me, loves when I read bedtime stories, and even loves my cooking. It's not my kid, but we all support each other and care for each other (unlike my biological family where everyone hated me for not being Christian, not being a man or a woman, and not glorifying a certain former German chief of state of Austrian descent).

That's right. Stop caring about other people. It seems counter-intuitive, but you can't control other people's lives or make them choose the best options. And you can't help people who don't want help. So the best thing is to just put them out of your mind and focus on your own well-being. As for Cole, I liked his character. He's in my top favorites in my tier list right under Cassandra. My rift mage Inquisitor saw him as kind of a younger brother or maybe a son of sorts. Cole also helped him against the Envy demon, and my Inquisitor helped Cole remain a spirit while also helping him learn about the real world.

I really liked this video. I really do believe that video games aren't just games. They helped me get over the loss of my daughter 12 years ago and helped me get through depression. When I finally got off the streets and left the abusive men I was with, I resonated with them that stuck with me and still have an affect on me today. The Grey Warden from DAO, Vincent Valentine from FF7: Dirge of Cerberus, Sora from Kingdom Hearts, the wolf from Lost Ember, Ezio Auditore from AC2, Kratos from GoW, your CC from Skyrim... They resonate with me the most and I also thank every single video game company who brought these games to light and touched people's hearts all over the world. And I humbly thank you being such a great friend of mine, Cole. Don't stop and keep on going - for you have my support 🫂❤
